Licensed Real Estate Broker, State of California, 1985

I graduated Simi Valley High School in 1982 after attending the Simi Valley Unified School district from Kindergarten (Township Elementary) to Junior High (Valley View Junior High School) till my graduation from High School (Simi High). I am truly a product of our school district and I take pride in that fact.

I graduated from California State University, Northridge in 1986 with a Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with a Major in Finance, Insurance and Real Estate and a minor in Economics.

While attending CSUN, I earned my State Of California, Department of Real Estate Salespersons License. Immediately after my graduation from CSUN, I earned my State Of California, Department of Real Estate Brokers License. The distinction between the Brokers License and the Salespersons License is a function of Education, Experience, and Knowledge, with the Brokers License requiring a great deal more of all the above. Few Salespersons strive to obtain the elusive Brokers License. In order to obtain my Brokers License, I had to complete the following college level courses, in addition to my regular course schedule to graduate from CSUN;

Real Estate Property Management
Real Estate Office Management
Real Estate Economics
Legal Aspects of Real Estate
Real Estate Principals
Real Estate Practice
Appraisals

To further my education I endured years of advanced training to receive a unique distinction among my fellow Realtors. In 1992 I was awarded from the California Association of Realtors the prestigious designation that will follow my name and career for life, Graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI).

Besides the rigorous 45 Hours of Continuing Education that a Licensed Broker must attend every license renewal period, I have attended specialized training classes and seminars on the following subjects and issues;

"The Golden Years, Dealing with Real Estate Decisions for Senior Citizens"
"Foreclosures, The Next Wave for the 90's"
"1031 Tax Exchanges Done the Right Way"
"Buying Real Estate Owned (REO) Properties"
"Financing 101, The Basic Class of Government Financing"
"Financing 102, The Advanced Class of Government Financing"
